New Apprentices Employed by Rise Construction Cardiff
By Rise Construction Cardiff — 1 Oct 2025
Rise Construction Cardiff Ltd are pleased to welcome Dylan Price and Cameron Rogers to the team. Both Dylan and Cameron have recently joined as first-year apprentices.
Dylan will be mentored by our lead carpenter, Gareth Davies, and will formalise his learning at Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC)—the largest standalone FE college in Wales. Likewise, Cameron will be guided by our lead plumber, Joshua Kelly, and will consolidate his learning at Coleg y Cymoedd (Welsh for "College of the Valleys").
Dylan was introduced to carpentry and joinery through woodwork classes in secondary school, an experience that shaped his decision to pursue a career in construction. He values the qualification opportunities his apprenticeship provides and is confident it will prepare him for the world of work.
Cameron has maintained a keen interest in plumbing from a young age and believes a related career will help him achieve key life goals, such as purchasing a home. He first approached Rise after learning about the company's good reputation and experienced no difficulties when enrolling on his apprenticeship course.
"We’re excited to contribute to the skills development of future generations. We recognise the value of hands-on experience and are committed to equipping our apprentices with the knowledge and tools they need to build successful careers" — Jon Sainsbury, Managing Director at Rise Construction Cardiff Ltd.
Their apprenticeship programmes are publicly funded and employer grants have been pre-approved by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), an organisation whose mission is to help the construction industry in building a better Britain.
