Our Team

Jon is the face of Rise and is always on hand to assist our clients. Initially a carpenter by trade, he has developed his skillset to now also include plumbing. Jon is a fourth generation builder, and like those before him, construction holds a strong foothold among his interests.

Ty’s contributions are firmly rooted in business management. He believes in working smarter and is always seeking new ways to improve the business’s efficiency. Ty continually deepens his understanding of our clients’ needs and helps shape the company around them.

Nick is a multi-trade worker who has been with the company from the very start. Widely known as a people person, he has excellent customer service skills and this often forms part of the praise he receives from our clients.

Connor is a key figure within our in-house carpentry team. After serving as our first tipper driver for several years, he went on to complete his Level 3 carpentry qualification, fulfilling a long-term ambition. Although a bona fide specialist, Connor’s skills extend well beyond carpentry.

Josh is a highly experienced plumbing and heating engineer. He is currently completing his Gas Safe qualification and relishes the challenge it brings. A well-respected member of the team, Josh also mentors colleagues looking to further their own career paths.

Gareth is our lead carpenter and has amassed over 15-years worth of experience to date, affording him myriad opportunities to refine his skills and expertise. Whatever our clients’ property goals are, Gareth is a reliable source of inspiration and application.

Ash operates our tipper vehicle and will go above and beyond to ensure every project runs smoothly. A proud lifelong Pontcanna resident, his extensive knowledge of Cardiff’s roads and local building suppliers help ensure his colleagues and our sites never go without.

Dylan was our first apprentice and is due to begin the second year of his carpentry qualification with a local course provider. He is a keen learner and has shown enthusiasm in his role since joining the team. In his spare time, Dylan enjoys watching and playing rugby.

Cam is the newest addition to our team and works directly under Josh. He has shown steady progression during his time with Rise, having successfully completed the first year of his apprenticeship, while acquiring valuable skills and experience along the way.

Technically not part of our team, but we also work with a growing number of independent subcontractors. Ranging from carpenters and bricklayers, to roofers and plumbers. Each subcontractor is vetted, fully qualified and their work ethics strongly resemble our own.
